Western Michigan University: Colby Woogk
We would like to congratulate Colby Woogk on his commitment to Western Michigan University. Colby is a 2005 birth year defenseman from Brighton, Michigan. Colby has played the last three seasons with the Dallas Stars Elite 16U AAA team. He began his hockey career playing for the Honeybaked AAA organization in Michigan before moving to Texas in 2020.
Colby is an excellent skater with great offensive instincts. He is a very good puck-mover who can quarterback the power play. Colby is a very good defender who is hard to play against because of his size, strength, and reach. Western Michigan is getting a very good young player who has a bright future.
UMass: Jacob MacDonald
We would like to congratulate Jacob MacDonald on his commitment to UMass. Jacob is a 2004 birth year forward from Waxhaw, North Carolina. Jacob has played the last two seasons with the Dallas Stars Elite 18U AAA team. He began his hockey career playing for the Carolina Jr. Hurricanes AAA organization in North Carolina before moving to Texas in 2021.
Jacob is a very skilled offensive player who has a great shot. He is a very good skater who can create scoring chances for himself and his teammates. Jacob is a very good playmaker who can also score goals. UMass is getting a very good young player who has a bright future.
