Live: Rory McIlroy leads Irish Open on final day at Royal County Down

McIlroy leads by one shot heading into the final round of the Irish Open at Royal County Down.

The Northern Irishman shot a three-under-par 68 in the third round to move to 12 under for the tournament, one shot ahead of Scotland's Russell Knox.

McIlroy is seeking his first win on home soil since 2014 and will be aiming to become the first player to win the Irish Open three times in a row.

Knox is one shot behind McIlroy in second place.

The Scot shot a four-under-par 67 in the third round and is looking to win his first Irish Open title.

England's Eddie Pepperell is two shots behind McIlroy in third place after shooting a three-under-par 68 in the third round.

Pepperell is seeking his first European Tour title.

The Englishman has been in good form this season and will be hoping to challenge McIlroy and Knox on the final day.

The final round of the Irish Open begins at 08:30 BST on Sunday.
